Parmesan Chicken Breasts with Parma Ham – by Jaime Oliver

This is a really easy recipe that is SO tasty! It was a hit with the whole fam and it’s even a recipe where you can have one of your kids help out!

Greg was my helper this time. We didn’t have a rolling pin so we used daddy’s hammer! He was so smart to use the handle of the hammer instead of the head so when he hit the chicken it was more even.

My chicken ended up thicker than what I wanted, so I just ended up cooking it a bit longer to make sure they were cooked through. :)

Instructions:

1) Flatten the chicken breasts with whatever method you like best (I use Saran Wrap and find whatever cylindrical object handy to pound it with)

2) On each breast, put 1 sprig of thyme leaves on each breast, shaved Parmesan cheese, pepper, lemon zest and a slice of Parma ham (prosciutto)

3) Fry it Parma ham side first for 3 minutes, then 3 minutes on the other side

4) Slice it in the middle at an angle. Plate it and drizzle balsamic vinegar on it!
